  Weather for Friday, July 26th

Friday will be a day of sunny spells and scattered passing showers. Towards nightfall, low cloud and rain and drizzle will arrive into western areas with brisk winds closer to the coast. Fresher than recent days with highs of 17 to 19 or 20 degrees, best values further east, all in a light to moderate southwest breezes.

Friday night will be dry early on further east of the province. Wet elsewhere, with rain and drizzle extending in across the province - some heavy bursts are likely with low cloud, mist and fog in parts too. Lows of 10 to 12 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Any lingering overnight rain across southeastern areas will quickly clear into the Irish Sea early on Saturday morning with sunny spell and scattered showers soon following. The odd heavy shower will occur later. Highs of 17 to 21 degrees, best values in the Southeast. West to northwest winds will be mostly moderate in strength.
