Margaret (Peggy) Ahearne, née Burtchaell, Rockenham, Ferrybank, Waterford

Who died on Sunday 10th March 2024.

Aged 94 years.

Predeceased by her husband Peadar, son Pat, parents John and Mary, brothers Jimmy, Tommy and Paddy, sisters Maura (Burns) and Elsie (Hayes).

Peacefully, in her daughters Gemma’s home Farmelea, Ferrybank, surrounded by her loving family.

Peggy will be sadly missed by her daughters Marie (Piper) and Gemma (O’Neill), sons Shane and Conor, daughters-in-law, son-in law, grandchildren Elaine, David, Martina, Hugh, Pat, Eoin, Catherine, Niamh, Roisin and Aaron, great grandchildren Darragh, Joseph, Evie, Nikki, Bobby and Penny, brother Sean, sisters Deirdre (Hannigan) and Breda (Moran), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

MAY PEGGY REST IN PEACE

Peggy will be reposing in Powers Funeral Home, Ferrybank on Monday, 11th March, from 5.30pm followed by removal at 7.30pm to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank.

Peggy’s Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday 12th March at 10am after which Peggy will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
