Peggy McCarthy (nee Fitzpatrick), Harristown, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny

Peggy died unexpectedly on Monday, 12 th January 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Andy, parents, brothers Pa, Dick and Mick and her sister Maureen (Rockett).

Sadly missed by her children Siobhan, Liam, P.J., Denis, Kay (Phelan) and Andrew; her Grandchildren Andrew, Richard and Shane McCarthy, Jackie (Brennan), Carol (Kirwan) and Emily McCarthy, Darren and Damien McCarthy, Katelynn, James and Andrew Phelan and Peter, Sinead and Lisa McCarthy; her great Grandchildren; her brother Eamonn, her sisters Delia (Casey), Kathleen (Butler) and Alice (McSweeney); her nieces, nephews, daughters in law, son in law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and her extended family.

Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home, new street Carrick-on-Suir on Wednesday, 14 th January from 4.30pm followed by removal at 6pm to Templeorum Church.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday, 16th January in Templeorum Church followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
