Visiting ban remains in place at Co. Waterford nursing home due to flu outbreak

A ban on visitors remains in place at a County Waterford nursing home due to an outbreak of the flu.
The management at Dunabbey House in Dungarvan has prohibited all visiting to the unit after cases of influenza were confirmed in the facility.
The HSE’s South East Community Healthcare services are appealing for the public’s cooperation and is advising mobile phone contact between families as an alternative to visiting.
The ban is being reviewed on a daily basis.
