A Waterford artist has appealed to the person who took her painting from a Waterford City restaurant to return it.

Lisa Keane had a piece of her art on display at Espresso however, it’s alleged that it was stolen over the weekend.

She took to Instagram to say that she is a mother of two boys trying to make a living and that any sale she makes is a huge deal, adding it’s totally deflating for someone to just swipe it off the wall.

Lisa asked for the painting to be returned to Espresso which reopens on Wednesday at 5:00 pm.

She said otherwise CCTV footage will be handed over to the guards.
