Good news for a local food producer

Little Thai Kitchen is a Waterford based producer of Thai cooking sauces, with the small team operating from Dunhill.

The company has been chosen from 290 Food Academy suppliers and is currently being showcased in SuperValu stores nationwide for a three-week period.

I'll spoke in studio to Little Thai Kitchen's Míchéal Ó Cadhla who explained what the promotion means. He also discussed the ups and downs of the past 18 months.

Kenny Murphy of MOVE Dungarvan tells his story

Kenny is a qualified physiotherapist who had previously worked with the team at Solas na Mara in An Rinn. He set up his own gym, MOVE Dungarvan during the Pandemic.

Kenny outlined the aims of the business as well as explaining how he managed he lockdown. He also discussed how important it was for clients to be back in gym classes.

Episode 4 of Spotlight on Arclabs

In the final episode I spoke to Christine Scarry and Patrick O'Gorman. Christine has a background in the arts and has recently set up The Voice Industry. She joined Arclabs as a coworker to develop a business plan to create an innovative voice care centre in Ireland. Christine told me she tapped into the network and expertise of ArcLabs to realise this goal.

Patrick O'Gorman is the owner of Market Cloud, an online marketing and recruitment service. The Tipperary native is a final year marketing student in WIT. Patrick set up his company Market Cloud in January as part of a student entrepreneurship programme affiliated with WIT. His services aim to help SMEs with their recruitment processes through targeted marketing. Patrick was part of the Student Enterpreneurship Bootcamp at Arclabs.
