McCarthy set for second fight of 2021

Waterford's Craig McCarthy will fight on the undercard of the Chris Eubank and Liam Williams world title fight next month.

The Kilcohan native is 8-0-1 as a professional boxer and will be looking to add to this record when he meets Bradley Rea in Cardiff.

He is yet to be beaten, with one draw being notched in 2019 when he fought Chris Blaney in Bolton. McCarthy's Lancashire opponent is unbeaten as a pro with an 11-0 pro record.

McCarthy has been training in Saviours Crystals with the Simpson brothers for this fight, and the pair are set to be in his corner for the bout on the 11th of December.
