Dunmore East is one of the top spots for tourism in the country

David Harris runs The Bay Cafe, which is situated in the heart of Dunmore East. He tells me that it's been a year of ups and downs, but that people in theΒ  hospitality sector are resilient, and can handle anything that comes their way.

David gave me his thoughts on how he prepared for outdoor dining, the prospect of indoor dining under current rules, and his hopes for the winter season..

WIT and IT Carlow have jointly secured €3m from Enterprise Ireland to operate the New Frontiers entrepreneur development programme in the south east over the next five years. The programme is for people who have an innovative business idea or a technology concept that has the potential to be developed into a viable start-up company.
