A former pub in Waterford has been added to Waterford City and County Council's list of derelict, vacant buildings.

The Showboat, which closed in 2014, was previously owned by the late Tom and Anna Treacy, and was sold along with the Mansion House in Johnstown, and the Halfway House.

The sale closed on both The Showboat and The Mansion House in 2016, however The Showboat remained vacant.

The owner of The Showboat is listed as Mr Minghui Song with an address at 92 Parkgate, Tullowphelim, Tullow, Co. Carlow.
