Three people had to be rescued from a small fishing vessel near Cheekpoint in Waterford today.
Their boat suffered a mechanical error before running ashore and getting stuck in the mud.
Waterford City River Rescue were tasked to the scene by the Irish Coast Guard at around 12pm and they say it took a two-hour operation to rescue the two men and a woman on board.
One of the individuals was given precautionary treatment by the ambulance crew who also attended.

The crew is advising anyone going out on a boat that if it breaks down, you should always drop your anchor to prevent it running aground.
Speaking to WLR News, Billy Gallagher with Waterford City River Rescue said:
"It was a mechanical error. He [the boat operator] had fuel and everything but he never threw down his anchor, he just drifted to shore.
"The whole thing is that if you do break down, throw out your anchor because if someone needs to tow you, you'll be there when they come."
