A young man from Butlerstown starred in an Irish TV show which won a prestigious Clio Entertainment Award for Public Relations for Social Goods in a Hollywood ceremony last week!
Jack Bolger, aged 7, is the star of RTE junior show 'Dizzy Deliveries' which includes a system of sign language called 'Lamh', used to communicate by people with intellectual disabilities.
Jack stopped by the Déise Today studio this morning (Friday) with his mother, Niamh, to talk about winning this prestigious award, going on the Late Late Show last year, and what Lamh is.
He also showed Damien some of his favourite words in Lamh!
The TV star's mother, Niamh, spoke about how Lamh has helped Jack, what Lamh means to them, and teaching Lamh around Waterford.
