Leading travel journalist Eoghan Corry joined Damien to discuss what you need to do, if you're flying into Ireland from Friday.

The government announced during the week that a negative PCR or professionally carried out antigen test will be needed for inbound travellers.

People can have either a professional antigen test taken a maximum of 48 hours prior to arrival or a PCR test taken up to 72 hours earlier.

Eoghan Corry discussed many issues around flying with Damien, including how to get an antigen test if you're in a different country, what exactly is meant by a 'professional' antigen test, and who is checking for this at the airport?

Eoghan says this is by no means clear, and he envisages a bit of confusion as a result!

"The government has thrown it onto the airline, and the airline staff, to make the decision as to whether you're let on board"
