How do you deal with a rat infestation caused by a neighbouring property?!
On this morning's Deise Today, Damien spoke to pest control expert Trevor Hayden.
This was on foot of a contact to the show yesterday (Monday) from a listener in the Tramore area, upset at a rat problem caused by a neighbour throwing their food waste in their garden, attracting now only birds but rats to both properties!
"I'm a prisoner in my home. I can't enjoy the new garden that has been built for my enjoyment," the listener said in an email.
"My grandchild is indoors with me in this heat of summer. I'm devastated."
Her email sparked similar contacts to the show from other listeners who have experienced similar problems.
And Trevor Hayden from 'Complete Pest Control' came on to talk about just how common a problem it is!
