Listen Back to Theatrebox on Showtime

Listen Back to Theatrebox on Showtime. Trevor Darmody (School Director), Joe Shanahan (Sir Robin) and Fred Kennedy (Sir Galahad) called in for a chat about Spamalot.

Monty Pythons Spamalot is lovingly ripped off from the classic comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.

Everything that makes a great knight in the theatre is in this show, from flying cows to killer rabbits, British royalty to French taunters, dancers to rubbery shrubbery, and of course, the Lady of the Lake.

TheatreBox is a vibrant and lively theatre school, operating from The Arts Complex. It is a buzzing, inspirational environment in which students feel encouraged to reach their full potential whether they are coming to develop confidence, make friends or with a professional performing arts career in their sights.

The end of season show is a red letter day for any theatre school and this is no different. You may not know what Spamalot is but you certainly know what Monty Python is.

During the chat we also played three songs from Spamalot. 'Knights of the round table', 'The Song That Goes Like This' and 'Find your Grail'. Have a listen - you'll fall in love with the score too.

Spamalot runs Wednesday to Saturday in Theatre Royal, tickets still available for every performance.
