Waterford News & Star Arts critic Pat McEvoy called along to give us his thought on recent productions.

This time out Pat looks at Movies and Musicals in the SETU Arena. The Symphony Club of Waterford brought the RTE Concert Orchestra to town along with Lyric FM's Aedin Gormley as host. Pat gives us a flavour of the evening.

Next the attention turns to Waterford Youth Arts and their production of 'Is This Good Enough?'. This was performed in the Mount Sion Hall on the night Pat was present.

Encore by Jack Cunningham Productions was the first big ticket musical event to hit the stage this year. Pat was there on the Friday night and gives us a flavour of the performance. Choreography, Costumes and loads of Nostalgia are the order of the day. Loads of Tops favourites littered this performance and made a memorable night in Theatre Royal.

Finally Pats grand daughter Saoirle joined him to look at Chitty Chitty Bang Bang by the Waterford Centre of Music. If her review of this show is anything to go by, Pat has stiff competition.
