Dymphna's Book Club is here to help you Beat the January Blues with its very first meeting on The Big Breakfast Blaa.

Taking place on the last day of each month, Dymphna will bring you her top adult and children's books, all with thanks to The Book Centre, Waterford.

This month, Dymphna discussed Sophie White's newest title, 'My Hot Friend.' Katriona O'Sullivan's powerful rags-to-riches story 'Poor,' Hila Blum's second novel, 'How to Love your daughter,' and the smash-hit of the Christmas, Dav Pilkey returns with 'Cat Club Comic Club Influencers.'

Congratulations to Jacqueline McGrath from Dungarvan, who was this month's winner of over €110 worth of books on Dymphna's Book Club
