Villa FC will make their debut in the FAI Cup this evening against Maynooth University Town.
Conor Coad's side were rewarded with a place in the senior equivalent following their FAI Junior Cup victory back in May.
It's a historic occasion for the club and they promise to bring a strong travelling support to Kildare for this evening's clash.
Both sides find themselves in the midst of pre-season, with the Leinster Senior League outfit also playing a competitive fixture for the first time in some months.
Conor Coad has been reflecting on the season just gone - and the Villa boss is confident that they can come away on Friday night with their names in the hat for the second round.
