Tramore's Anna Dawson led from wire to wire to land the Ohio Valley Conference Women's Golf Championship in Mississippi. Her final round of 76 was enough for her to take the title from her Little Rock team mate Eleonore Aernouts by one shot and also helped Little Rock to the team title.
Dawson, who won her first American tournament last month, has enjoyed an excellent season on the American collegiate circuit and has been voted OVC Player of the Year. She was also named on the All Tournament team following the conclusion of the end of season championships.
She is the first ever Little Rock player to win Player of the Year.
