Boxing: Kelyn Cassidy wins back-to-back titles as Zara Breslin defeated by Kellie Harrington

There were mixed fortunes for the Waterford Boxing Clubs involved in the National Senior Elite Championships at the National Stadium yesterday (Saturday).

Despite having three great rounds, Harrington won by unanimous decision in the 60kg final, 5-0.

Paul Looman from St. Carthage's Boxing Club defeated Sean Purcell of Saviours Crystal's by a unanimous decision in the 57kgs final.

The Waterford boxing clubs finished the night with a second Senior Elite title following an excellent performance by Dungarvan Boxing Club's Christina Desmond.
