Waterford's Thomas Barr has finished 5th in the 400 metres at the European Team Championships League One in Finland this afternoon.
He finished well below par, with a time of 49.73.
The race was won by the fastest man in Europe this year Norway’s Karsten Warholm, arguably the world’s best 400m hurdler so far this year in a time of 48.46 (a Championship record).
