The CEO of Waterford City and County Council says there are challenges ahead but if agencies work together there is a very bright future ahead.
Michael Walsh said the recession affected Waterford a bit more than most, but he now sees the City and County going into a different place over the next few years.
One of the game changers will be the North Quays development.
Michael Walsh says he hopes funding for the multi million euro development which he says will change the face of Waterford, will be announced by the Government early next year.
