The Solas Cancer Support Centre Run and Walk gets underway in Waterford City today.
There is a 5 mile family friendly walk or a 10 mile run starting from Georges Street at 12.30pm.
The WLR team is this year taking part in memory of our late colleague Kevin Casey who was helped by the centre before his untimely death at the age of 40 in January this year.
The Solas Centre offers free support to cancer patients, their families and carers.
