Today is the second and final day of the Irish Life Health All Ireland Senior Championships in Santry Stadium in Dublin with many finals and a big Waterford interest.
Three athletes defend titles OlympianThomas Barr in the 400 metres hurdles,Cara Kennedy in the Hammer both Ferrybank and Thomas Houlihan West Waterford in the pole vault.
In addition two former champions Niamh Whelan in the 100 metres and our record holder of National Championsip titles Kelly Proper returns to the championships in the long jump after a few years absence and quite a few more also contest finals.
The first event is underway at 2.40 pm, with the last event at 8 pm.
