The village of Dunmore East is currently experiencing a water outage due to a burst main on the Coxtown supply.
It’s also affecting parts of Cheekpoint and the surrounding area.
Irish Water say crews are working to restore the supply as soon as possible.
Pat Fitzgerald is Sinn Féin Councillor for the area.
“I’ve been talking to repair crews, I’ve spoke to a Senior Engineer at Waterford Council,” he told WLR News, “he has reported to me that this is a major problem.”
He says that they haven’t had a turnaround time confirmed, and that it may take some time to sort out.
