LISTEN BACK, On the Ball - Saturday August 18th

Former Waterford hurler and All-Star Eoin Kelly joined us in studio to look ahead to tomorrow's much anticipated All-Ireland SHC Final at GAA Headquarters.

Galway have named their side to face Limerick tomorrow as the Tribesmen bid to win back to back All-Ireland Hurling titles for the first time since 1988.

The reigning champions will be boosted by the return of Gearoid McInerney who missed last weeks semi-final replay with Clare through an ankle injury.

He's proved his fitness and starts at centre-back, while John Hanbury has also been passed fit to start at corner back.

Matt Keane spoke to Thomas Barr who returned to Waterford this week.

Waterford Thomas Barr returned home to a hero's welcome in his beloved Dunmore East on Thursday evening.

The Ferrybank AC athlete became the first Irishman ever to win a sprint medal at the European Championships.

We reflected on a big three points for Waterford FC who overcame Derry City 2-1 last night to move four points clear of Shamrock Rovers in third position, and Mark Phillips filled us on a busy weekend of Racing action as the Tramore festival continues.
