Waterford visitor attraction King of the Vikings has won the Tourism Award at the Excellence in Local Government Awards.
The world's First Viking Virtual Reality Adventure was opened in 2017 and has been consistently top of the Tripadvisor visitor choice rankings.
Director of Waterford Treasures Eamon McAneaney said it was a great boost for tourism in Waterford:
"It's recognition of where Waterford is going with tourism, how we're bringing it out to a different market and broadening the appeal of historic tourism and heritage tourism with this attraction."
