Dog reunited with owners after taking train to Dublin

Dog hopped on a train to the Capital

A dog who got on a train and travelled to Dublin has been reunited with its owners after an appeal by Irish Rail on social media.

The dog arrived in Heuston station this morning having boarded a train from Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Earlier, Irish Rail shared an image of the young dog on Twitter in an attempt to locate her owners.

"Is this your dog?" Irish Rail tweeted, along with an image of the black and white pup.


The picture was retweeted over 400 times and Irish Rail has now confirmed the dog's owners have been found.

Maybe the dog was going to work..


There's been a drive to bring our furry friends into the office, so maybe the little pup was going for an interview in Dublin?
