Two cars were stopped in Waterford yesterday after travelling at more than 80km/hr above the speed limit.
Gardai clocked the cars travelling at 182km/hr in convoy along the Waterford bypass which is a 100km zone.
A Fixed Charge Notice was issued to each driver.
Gardai are appealing to drivers to slow down and be safe on the roads.
