Further staff walk-outs are anticipated today in University Hospital Waterford.
This follows Friday's UNITE industrial action where union members from the catering staff walked out.
Industrial action has been ongoing since May 27th on foot of a controversial regrading system which omitted laundry staff from the scheme.
Tensions heightened last Thursday when WLR reported an apology was issued from hospital management to patients for any delays in meal service as a result of the action.
