Plans to transform Waterford's O'Connell Street into a Cultural Quarter for the city were unveiled at a public meeting on Wednesday evening.
It's hoped the area could become a focal point for the county's creative scene, by offering security of tenure to artists living and working within its environs.
Other proposals include a permanent food market, and making the area a hub for film-making.
The plans are available to view on the Waterford council website and submissions can be made until Friday the 3rd of November.
