Listen Back To Trevor Darmody On Showtime

Listen Back To Trevor Darmody On Showtime. Trevor, co-director of the Winterval Festival, dropped in to tell us all about the Choral Trail in this years festival.

Get ready for a festive feast of music in Waterford from Nov 17 to Dec 23, 2023! 🎶

The Irish Doctor’s Choir kicks off the Winterval Choral Trail at Christ Church Cathedral on Nov 26, 3.30pm. They're belting out Handel’s ‘Samson’ with soloists and a French Baroque Ensemble. It's a two-hour uplifting show supporting the Solas Cancer Support Centre.

Next up, on Dec 3 at St John’s Church, it’s 'The Armed Man - Mass for Peace' by Notable Works. The Waterford Concert Orchestra, led by Eimear Heeney, and Conductor Kevin O’Carroll bring Karl Jenkins’ powerful piece to life. It's an hour of musical intensity exploring the consequences of war.

As Christmas approaches, join the Waterford Lions Club Christmas Concert at the Cathedral on Dec 16, 4pm.
