Irish Music Royalty on the Lunchbox! Gina Dale Haze

Geoff had the pleasure of a chat on the Lunchbox with Gina of Gina Dale Haze and the Champions

Gina Dale Haze, and The Champions formed in 1973. The Cork-based band took the dancing scene by storm in the late 1970s and early 80s with 12-chart hit singles in addition to several best-selling albums. The band quickly became Ireland’s top attraction with record-breaking attendances at dances and concerts.

Amazingly, 50 years on the original Band members, Gina, Pat, Mossey, Eddie & Tony are still performing together at sell-out shows. Sadly, Dale Haze from Kilmacthomas passed away suddenly in 2020, his colleagues continue to remember him in a special way on stage. More gigs are planned for the New Year and we will be the first with news of that on WLR.
