A special event was held at Knockanore National School yesterday to honour a world renowned former pupil.
Jockey Denis O'Regan retired recently having been the only jockey in history to ride a winner at every active course in Ireland and the UK.
Stars of the sport such as Paul Townend, John Kiely, Davy Russell and Jimmy Mangan were all in attendance to honour O'Regan's achievements.
Denis spoke to Jordan Norris afterward.
