Co. Minor Hurling Semi-Finals take centre stage this evening

It's set to be a busy evening of action in the all-County Minor hurling Championship with semi-finals taking place in the top three Divisions in what's been a fiercely competitive Championship so far.

Fourmilewater have been very impressive in Division 1 and they will enter tonight's semi-final against Ballygunner with plenty of confidence. The Ballymacarbry men overturned the Gunners by two points in their own pitch in the league section and the sides clash again at 8pm in Fraher Field.

The other semi in the top flight is an all-Eastern affair as De La Salle and Mount Sion face off in Walsh Park for a 6:30pm throw-in.

Both Division 1 Plate semi-finals are also down for decision this evening. Fraher Field sees Abbeyside and Lismore go head to head from 6:30pm, while Leamybrien is the venue for the clash of Brickey Rangers and St. Molleran's (6:30pm), there was only a point between these teams when they clashed in the group stages at Bushy Park.

Division 2 has proven to be really exciting with very little to choose between the teams. Both semis throw-in at 6:30pm, Clan na Gael face Eastern rivals Roanmore in St. Saviour's, while Colligan hosts the meeting of Cois Bhride and Portlaw / Ballyduff Lower.

The opening Division 3 semi-final was due to be played this evening but Clashmore / Kinsalebeg have conceded a walkover to Ferrybank. The Eastern side will now face the winners of tomorrow evening's semi-final between Ballyduff Upper and Erin's Own (they clash in Fraher Field at 6:30pm which will be followed at 8pm by the Division 4 Final between Dungarvan and St. Oliver's).
