John, predeceased by his wife Brid, his sisters Alice and Pauline, brother Thomas and nephew Francis.

John will be deeply regretted by his nephews Thomas, James and Anthony Phelan and Thomas Mooney, nieces Margaret Anne, Kate and Allison, cousins, relatives, extended family and friends.

John will repose at Walsh's Funeral Home, Carrick-on-Suir on Monday the 13th of March from 7pm to 8pm, with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal on Tuesday morning 14th of March at 10.30pm to All Saints Church, Newtown, Kilmacthomas for requiem mass on arrival at 11.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetary.
