The official reopening of Ardmore Coast Guard Station will take place this morning.
Junior Minister in the Department of Transport, Hildegarde Naughton will do the honours, following an extensive refurbishment there.
It included window replacement, painting, flooring, and external improvements to the yard.
Work was also carried out on the original 'rocket' house for use in storage and training.
There are 17 volunteers in Ardmore, covering the coastline from Dungarvan to Youghal.
Minister Naughton's visit coincides with the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Irish Coast Guard this year.
