Gardaí are investigating damage to multiple cars in Dungarvan during the past week.
On Wednesday March 27th, two Toyota Aqua hatchbacks had windows damaged. The first vehicle was parked on Strand Street and the damage was discovered at 8.30am on Wednesday morning.
The second vehicle was parked on Grattan Square and the damage was discovered at 4pm when the owner returned to the vehicle.
Later that evening a third vehicle was interfered with on Church Street in the town.
A passerby noticed two males acting suspiciously by the Tesla and called Gardaí with a description.
A short time later, Gardaí arrested two males who were brought to Dungarvan Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
An investigation is ongoing and a file is being prepared.
