The Dungarvan Tourist Office has won the prestigious title of 'Best Local Tourism Office' at the Travel2Ireland Awards 2023.
The awards ceremony was held in Dublin on Friday night.
Jenny Beresford, the Tourism Office Manager, expressed her pride in the achievement and highlighted the positive impact which the office has had on Dungarvan's reputation as a tourism destination.
"The Dungarvan Tourism Office operates year-round, tirelessly promoting Dungarvan and its surrounding areas as a must-visit location in every season," she told WLR News.
Jenny says the team at the Dungarvan Tourism Office are engaged in various initiatives and place a strong emphasis on continuous professional development.
She says this is reflected in the high standards of their online and offline services and the quality of their multi-platform communications.
Travel2Ireland, a part of the larger ITTN group, aims to showcase the diverse attractions and offerings of all 32 counties in Ireland to prospective visitors.
