Man arrested after cars badly damaged in Dungarvan

A man has been arrested in Dungarvan after a number of cars were badly damaged.

Gardaí on patrol at around midnight on Thursday last, noticed the cars which had broken wing mirrors and smashed windscreens.

Speaking on WLR's Waterford Garda Watch, Sergeant Deirdre O'Neill says a person has been caught:

"There were five cars damaged on Thomas Street and another one on Fitzgerald Terrace.


"So, a patrol was continued and a male was arrested in the vicinity by Dungarvan Gardaí and conveyed to Dungarvan Garda Station.

"We're asking people if they saw or heard anything in the area to contact Dungarvan Gardaí please."
