1,552 road traffic collisions were reported in the Waterford Division between January and September of this year.
21 of these collisions resulted in serious injuries. 1,354 collisions resulted in material damage only.
482 vehicles were detained by Gardai in the Waterford Division in the first nine months of 2023.
386 offences of driving while intoxicated were detected, a fall of 20%.

50 vehicles were stolen, while thefts from vehicles doubled from 61 in this period last year to 122 between January and September.
