The 12 Red Hats of Christmas is back on WLR! Over the course of 12 days, €6,000 worth of Think Waterford First Gift Cards must be won. So that's €500 per day going into the local businesses we love. All thanks to Red Hat!
This Christmas, it’s more important than ever to shop local. Red Hat, the world's enterprise open-source software leader, with a base here in Waterford, wants to bring a little festive cheer to the wonderful people of the Déise.

Over the next 12 days, Ollie & Dymphna on The Breakfast Blaa, Damien Tiernan on Déise Today, Geoff Harris on The Lunchbox, Gemma Delaney on The Spin Home, Seán Organ on Saturday and Sunday Sunrise, Maria McCann on The Saturday Café, Timmy Ryan on The Saturday Jukebox and Timmy On Sunday and Andy Mac on The Sunday Jukebox will all be giving you the chance to win that daily prize of a €500 Think Waterford First Gift Card, so make sure you're listening in!
When the presenters prompt you, you can Text or WhatsApp ‘SHOP WATERFORD', and your NAME to 083 33 33 975.
If your text is picked out, you'll be taken on air to answer a simple question about Waterford.
If you answer the question correctly, your name will be added to the Red Hat alongside the other qualifiers of the day.
Weekdays on The Spin Home, Gemma will pick a name from the Red Hat and if that’s you, you’ll win a Think Waterford First Gift Card worth FIVE HUNDRED EURO! Similarly, Timmy will do the draw on The Saturday Jukebox and Andy on The Sunday Jukebox.
