A former Mayor of Waterford has called on the local Council to appoint a designated city centre manager.

Cllr. Joe Kelly has been responding to renewed calls from city centre businesses for a position to be established.

Many government funded projects in the city are currently on hold such as the North Quays and Michael St. developments.

Speaking to Jordan Norris from the WLR News team, Cllr. Kelly said that this is the only way forward for Waterford.
