Tramore listener Lisa spoke to Damien on 'Deise Today' this week  about her frustration over getting needed orthodontic care for her daughter.

Lisa's 16-year-old daughter is on a huge waiting list for treatment - and the family are extremely frustrated.

This morning, Fintan Hourihan, who is Chief Executive of the Irish Dental Association, spoke to Damien about the general issues, and revealed that the waiting lists here for orthodontic treatment are some of the worst in the country!

He also explained the difference between free public dental care and private dental care and outlined his own frustrations over the lack of help provided by the Government for dentistry.
