INDEPENDENT TD Matt Shanahan says he feels the three Government parties need to deliver on capital projects to keep Sinn Fein from being the majority party in the next Government.

Speaking on the Deise Today programme this morning, the Waterford Dail deputy also said he is planning to run for re-election, as it stands.

In a wide-ranging interview with Damien Tiernan, he spoke about being an Independent TD not affiliated to a political party and the challenges of this.
