The National elite boxing Championships get underway this weekend at the National Stadium in Dublin.
Seamie McDonagh is the first boxer through the ropes, representing St. Pauls in the 63.5kg weight class.
McDonagh is the youngest competitor in his weight class.
He comes to this Championships having won the U22's last February, as well as boxing for Ireland at the Euro's in Croatia.

The first of St.Paul's entrants in action will be Sean Purcell on Saturday.
Ahead of the first bout, WLR's Nigel Kelly sat down to chat with Saviour's Crystals' coach Paul Simpson and St. Paul's secretary Neil Gough.
