Broken Crow: Garter Lane Theatre Company in Residence.

BrokenCrow Theatre Co’s six Artistic Directors will assume the role of Theatre Company In Residence
for the coming creative year. This is a hugely exciting development for BrokenCrow who have just
kicked off an exciting and ambitious programme of new work for 2023, debuting at The Everyman,
Cork and Peacock Theatre, Dublin in February (Our Tethered Kin), and producing two new plays (The
Settling and Found) at Cork Midsummer Festival and Clonmel Junction Festival later this year. "This is
a wonderful opportunity for the company", says founder member and Tramore resident, Ronan
Fitzgibbon. "A number of us are local, or have made homes in Waterford and the South East over the
years, so to be supported by Garter Lane for a period of creative development here really feels like a
sort of homecoming. There's such wealth of talent and theatre history here, we can't wait to be part
of its future." The company intends to focus on two new works in development during the residency
- The Forest Dreams Us and As Was - alongside a series of Play Clinics for emerging writers.
The Resident Artists have already begun work and updates on their progress and programmes will
be made available through Garter Lane Arts Centres social media and website garterlane.ie
