It was another busy Hot Desk, with a festive feel.

The Shona Project and Tammy Darcy go from strength to strength

I spoke to Tammy Darcy, Founder of the Shona Project, who's one of five winners nationally of Visa's inaugural Grant and Coaching Programme for Women Entrepreneurs in Ireland.

Tammy recently won the Irish Red Cross Humanitarian of the Year Award.

She told me that Waterford is a real hub for social entrepreneurship but that it could be supported more at government level

I was also joined in studio by Aoife Fitzgerald, of men's clothes stores Fitzgeralds Menswear, FitzU, Heroes and Evolution. Aoife spoke to me about how the festive period has been in Waterford City.  She also chatted about growing up in the family business, and what it's like for people in retail at Christmas.

Ciarán Cunningham appointed CEO of Radiocentre Ireland

And Ciarán Cunningham has been appointed CEO of Radiocentre Ireland, a new initiative established by RTE and the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland.

He'll speak to me about the role and about what the initiative means.
