Connecting to Nature focuses on wildlife and wellbeing

On this week's Hot Desk, Waterford-based Julie Power joined me in studio to talk about Connecting To Nature, a family business she's started.

The company, which sells specially sourced birdfeed and locally grown wildflower seeds, puts a strong emphasis on the link between wellness and nature, as well as focusing on biodiversity and sustainability.

Julie explained how you can benefit from birds and nature, even if you have a very small living space in an urban area.

CC Creatives Waterford featured on the Hot Desk

Earlier this week I visited CC Creatives on Meagher's Quay in Waterford City. The pop-up Christmas shop features nine local creators who are selling their wares for the festive season.

I spoke to Denise Simpson of Huggable Home, who talked me through the various sellers and what they have to offer.

Denise told me that the local business community in Waterford has been a brilliant support.

RIKON continues to help businesses as it expands

Dr Pat Lynch, Director of RIKON, joined me in studio to talk about how the organisation helps local businesses grow and develop.

RIKON is a hybrid centre of innovation in Business Technology Management situated on the WIT campus in Waterford.
