Aoibhin Fallon stood in for Mary O Neil again on The Hot Desk last Wednesday (October 4th).
On the show, Aoibhin looked ahead to Budget 2024, what tax cuts might be on the way, will the government do anything to alleviate the housing crisis, and how much will petrol and diesel go up. Brendan Twohig chartered tax consultant and partner with MK Brazil was in studio to answer all of those questions.
Also speaking to Aoibhin on the show was Dan Hegarty from Waterford-based company HCS Solutions who are to create 15 new jobs following their partnership with cybersecurity giant Fortinet.
Aoibhin also spoke to Lisa Hodge from Totes Upcycle and Ciara Power about an event that happened in Phil Grimes Pub last weekend to showcase small businesses. It's called Philly Fest Oktoberfest and it took place on Saturday and Sunday, and showcased artists, craft makers, bakers, vintage clothes shops, and much more.
And Tristan Jacob, joint managing director of The Cliff group had details of their new venture in Ardmore, The Beach House. The stunning 6-bedroom house is an additional accommodation offering for guests visiting The Cliff House Hotel and will bring a splash of celebrity to the Waterford coastal town.
So listen back to The Hot Desk, all thanks to MK Brazil...
