With Awards season in full swing, the Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards 2023 were presented at a spectacular show at Theatre Royal, Waterford on Sunday night, February 26.

Including a huge mix of professional and amateur theatre, art, culture and heritage, and musical categories, the nominations generated plenty of conversation among Waterford’s arts community over the last few weeks.

Presented by News and Star Theatre Critic Pat McEvoy and WLR's Dymphna Nugent, it was a glittering night of amazing talent! Geoff spoke to one of the winners, Martine Rogers who won Best Supporting Female in a Musical for her performance of Mrs. Pierce in Waterford Musical Society's "My Fair Lady".
